An American expat who is spending her first year post-college tending children in the area around Salburg, Austria.
More detail on my backstory can be found here.
The Main Characters:
Anna and Gerd: My host parents
Omi: The grandmother who lives in Linz and who’s real name I embarrassingly do not know
Lena: Oldest of the three kids. 8, very social, very impressed with my bracelet making skillz.
Hannah: 5, really likes animals, used to be the most distant, now the most affectionate.
Kilian: 2, pretty much the greatest 2-year-old I’ve ever encountered.

Bon voyage, Amanda!! Wir lieben dich!
Ich heisse Ann. Ich komme aus Bismarck, ND und das is alles!
Et te amo!

Hahaha. Well, I can now say with relative certainty that it is ‘Ich habe veil grosse Pompelmuss.’
Consider yourself learned.
I really should change this page. It’s pretty nerdy.
